Pilot study shows selective enrichment of metabolites in 2D-LC vs. one-dimensional separation Sequence (RP×HILIC, HILIC×RP) modulates selectivity Metabolites can be putatively identified based on high-accuracy MS (METLIN library) and in-house library of authentic standards for 2nd LC dimension. Concerns: experimental variability, reproducibility.
