The promising results in regard to sensitivity, reliability and practicality make all assays very attractive in all clinical and forensic detections, and as well as for trace anesthetics determination in human blood. Furthermore, the headspace methods provide a clean injection, resulting in lower spending of gas chromatography consumables; and diminish the possibility of contamination and evaporation of volatile analytes.
