Demonstrates utility of VCFD coupled to ESI-IM-MS to provide insight into the effects that cholesterol incorporation, incubation temperature, and incubation time exhibit on GA dimer conformer preferences associated with lipid vesicle bilayers. Incorporation of cholesterol into the bilayer yields increased SSHH abundance and ADH peak width. Cholesterol alters GA conformer preferences from DSPC in a temperature-dependent manner.
