Preliminary data showed us ability of TiO_2 microparticles to isolate GSSHHHHHHSSGLVPR peptide during separation of phosphorylated peptides. This observation presumes TiO_2 as potential purification material for His-tagged peptides after cleavage of affinity tag from protein. Compare to standard IMAC protocol which is non-effective, as shown on SDS-PAGE analysis figure, TiO_2 can be considered also as potential material for His-tagged proteins purification. It will be subject of further investigation.
