Spectial metabolite profiling of Heart Tissue from Animal Models by Matrix-assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Imaging Mass Spectrometry

摘要

We detected and visualized spatial distribution of inflammation and failing heart relative metabolites and lipids from myocarditis heart tissues. IMS results provides abundance as well as spatial information of metabolites and lipids that it present powerful information to understanding diseases. Our study suggests that IMS might be used as a useful tool for biomarker discovery of a cardiac disorder.
