Differential Proteomics of Secreted Proteins for Melanoma Biomarker Discovery

A reliable strategy to characterize the secretome has been demonstrated. This has been used to characterize the secretome of a series of patientderived melanoma cell lines representing progression of the disease to metastases. Using In-house differential proteomics software, a secretome-wide comparison of these cell lines has been used identify potential biomarkers. We have identified a proteomic signature of melanoma cells.
