Cell Wall (Surface) Proteome of Pathogenic Yeast Candida albicans Profiled by Chemical Labeling and LC-MS

摘要

The cell surface proteome of pathogenic yeast C. albicans was profiled by chemical labeling and LC-MS approaches. True cell surface locations were verified for the identified proteins. The exposed moieties of C. albicans cell surface proteins could serve as immunogens to induce mammalian immune response against the pathogenic yeasts.
