MRM: Only with MRM we were able to identify Oct4 in complex mESC background. TPM: With the use of XICs (extratct ion chromtograms) of specific transitions we were able to quantify NF-kB2 with 10-fold higher sensitivity than using spectral counts. FAIMS: We showed that FAIMS promises a higher selectivity and improved detectability for global and targeted proteomic experiments. Targeted MS/MS-Assays will enable rapid, robust and highly quantitative biomarker research.
