摘要

The presence of glycosylation in a membrane-localized proteins of gram-negative bacterium Francisella tularensis was investigated. Comparative analysis revealed some differences in detection of glycoproteins among the F. tularensis strains SCHU, LVS and FSC200. A use of selected lectins provided some insight into the type of sugar residues likely to be present in the glycan moiety. The next research is aimed to an isolation of detected glycoproteins by non/magnetic functionalized particles followed by characterization of carbohydrate structures.
