摘要

A solar cell fabrication method involving a screen printed dielectric etching paste and Ni/Ag plated contacts is described. The via's opened with the etching paste are clean enough to be plated with electroless Ni followed by light induced Ag plating. This front contact method achieves a specific contact resistivity of 120μΩ-cm~2 on a lightly doped emitter with a surface concentration of 2×10~(19)/cm~3 while screen printing can only achieve a value of 2300μΩ-cm~2 on the same emitter. An efficiency of 18.4% has been attained in this work.
