摘要

The metal based Indian traditional drugs (e.g. copper oxide) [1] are administered for various ailments since long time. However, plant based drugs derived from roots, [2], leaves,[3] stem and fruits [4] which have nutritional values e.g. turmeric (root of a plant), fruits (almonds, walnuts) hence medicinal properties when one makes them in nano size particles, as we know that nano size particles show different behavior than that of bulk [5].We have prepared turmeric, almond and walnuts nanosize particles by Top-Down method (Cryogenic Grinding, Grogenic Ball milling). We have characterized these materials by using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) UV-VIS Spectroscopy Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectroscopy (FTIR') and Chemical Analysis.
