Complex Nanostructures by Atomic Layer Deposition

Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) recently became a key-technology for the surface modification of complex nanostructured materials. This method was invented in Finland in the 1970s and became important for the deposition of high-k dielectric and electrode materials in semiconductor industry in the past decade.
