Structural Correlations between Dong Race Architectures in China and Japanese 'Nuki' Construction

Japanese 'Nuki' Construction Method was brought over from China in the 12th century. In Japan, Nuki construction method has been inherited from generation to generation till now, and it has been improved more skillfully than that which had been initially handed down. On the other hand, the Dong race Nuki construction method of China did not change in all of the buildings such as the pagodas, the wooden bridges and the residences. The paper shows the structural characteristics of the the structural correlations between the two construction methods and their mechanical characteristics.
