摘要

Because a dynamic reactive power optimization model considers action number constraints of tap-changing transformers and switchable capacitors, the solution space will increase rapidly with enlargement of system size. Here, constraints of allowable number of switching operations for control devices are converted to economic costs, which are incorporated into objective function together with energy loss cost. Consequently the optimization in different time intervals are not interrelated each other. A counter is introduced to limit action number and dynamic reactive power optimization model is solved using primal-dual interior-point algorithm in which penalty functions for variable discretization are incorporated. In this way, this model can be better suitable for larger power systems.
