The development of the Nolans flowsheet has built upon existing operating circuits for individual mineral processes. The development and integration of rare earth, phosphoric acid, uranium and calcium chloride unit production facilities from the Nolans mineralogy is unique and demonstrates that the challenges that such complex mineralogy pose can be overcome. The pilot demonstration plant in operation at ANSTO continues with ongoing excellent results that will lead into the construction and commissioning of a full scale facility in 2011.
