Sentinel-3 Optical Level 2 Prototype Processor: Development of Land and Water Products Including Uncertainties.

The first Sentinel-3 satellite, launch as part of the European Global Monitoring for Environment and Security programme, will go into space in 2013. Development of the Level 2 optical prototype processor, which covers the OLCI and SLSTR instruments plus products that take advantage of the synergy, started in 2008 and is currently progressing to the first evaluation of the code in July 2011.
