Since all complex installations and devices are now controlled by computers, any significant distortions in the simulated processes (due to numerical phenomena) can lead to major failures. That is why the goal of this work is to study the main features of the classical (Courant, et al, 1928) and of the newly found (Delsanto, et al, 1992; lordache, et al., 1997, 2000a) numerical phenomena associated to the Finite Differences (FD) simulations (Strikwerda, 1989) of the wave propagation through different media, of the diffusion processes, of dielectric and magnetic dispersion, resp., of the thermally stimulated depolarization currents (TSDC), etc (lordache, 2004).
