摘要

The design method based on a risk benefit of having maintained mitigation of a risk and the improvement in economy is called for, in order to realize the rational innovative nuclear plants. Main key technologies of the risk benefit structural design method are crack propagation evaluation technology and structural reliability evaluation technology. This research aims at pulling up these two technologies on an engineering practical use level. This paper shows whole research plan of "Development of Risk Benefit Structural Design Method for Innovative Nuclear Plants" which is under enforcement by the schedule in the 2003 to the 2005 fiscal year by consignment of MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) in Japan.
