摘要

The SIAM CM 09 document represents a new module of the existing Structural Integrity Assessment Method SIAM developed at the GKSS Research Centre, which provides guidance for the application of cohesive models to determine damage and fracture in materials and structural components. It provides guidance for the following elements of an analysis: -Formulation of the cohesive law, -Determination of the cohesive parameters, -Validation of the cohesive model and application to structural assessment. Numerous formulations for a cohesive law have been developed. The choice of a specific formulation depends strongly on the class of material under consideration (e.g. ductile metals, concrete, polymers, etc.).
