Segmental spinal cord evoked magnetic fields by peripheral nerve stimulation

摘要

The measurement of spinal cord evoked potentials (SCEPs) is widely used for evaluating the function or the lesion level of the spinal cord. Because SCEPs recorded from skin surface are often influenced by surrounding tissue, it is hard to evaluate precisely the spinal cord function without invasive and skilled techniques, such as insertion of the epidural catheter electrodes.
