摘要

We evaluated the depressive state in Parkinson's disease (PD) using self-rating depression scale (SDS), and the correlation between SDS scores and nogo components. Included in this study were 17 PD patients aged 60 or more, majority of whom were at early stage, and 17 age-matched normal subjects. Event-related potentials (ERPs) were elicited using a push/wait paradigm after giving visual semantic stimuli. SDS scores were significantly (p<0.01) greater in PD patients than in normals, and reversely correlated with amplitudes of nogo N2 and P3 (p=0.08, p=0.04, respectively). The generators of nogo N2 and P3, especially the frontal cortices, seem to be involved in the pathogenesis of depressive state in PD.
