To overcome the limitations lying in web-based laboratory established in Web-Based Laboratory, it is necessary for us to construct a virtual and web-based Laboratory where experimenters can choose, install and connect the experimental components and observe the results of the experiment as if they where in a real laboratory. To construct such a virtual and web-based laboratory, it needs tools that can interact with users in a virtual world, so we introduce CAVE-the latest VR input and output device and VRML-the Virtual Reality Modeling Language. We also talk about the approach to develop this system. At last, we will talk about methods to simulate the experimental component of the system.
