ESALAN-SafetyController (ESC) - NEW BENCH MARK FOR SAFETY OF ROBOTICS

摘要

Due to increasing requirements of complexity and flexibility modem production system involve more and more sophisticated safety concepts. Besides this tendency in some production processes it is necessary to monitor a process directly e.g. to make some corrective actions etc. which means a direct co-operation between man and machine in these fields of applications. Especially in case of robots involved in these processes there are high requirements to the safety concepts. This paper will describe some technical aspects of the realization of such a concept.
