Torus-Shaped Dust Clouds in MagnetizedAnodic Plasmas

摘要

The generation of a torus-shaped dust cloud in an anodic plasma is decribed. Theconfined dust particles perfom a rotational motion around the torus major axis. The structure ofthe cloud in dependence of the external parameters are observed and the rotation velocity of theparticles was measured and compared with a simple estimate.
