A Suggested Framework for the Research of Psaltic Music Manuscripts in Religious Music Higher Education

摘要

The research of psaltic music manuscripts for the advanced course in Byzantine Paleography or Decoding Byzantine manuscripts in religious music higher education can be achieved using a framework created at the University of Arts "George Enescu" Iasi within the project The catalogue of sacred music manuscripts in Moldavia - 11th to 20th century. The framework consists of three sections: the first is a synopsis of the data related to the manuscript, the second contains a detailed codex description, the third offers a detailed description from the viewpoint of sacred (liturgy) music and of the musical and extra-musical notations.
