Landmarks for the Physical Education and Sports Quality in Romania - as a New Topic for Continuing Education Programs

In this paper, we present a possible quality system for physical education and sports in Romania. By using a comparative perspective concerning the results of some educational researches and their implications for our area, we described some quality criteria, indicators and standards which could be applied to physical education and sports field. From this point of view, we suggest specialists to use a quality system for their work efficiency assessment. As a new approach in physical education and sports, we consider that it could represent an important topic for the teachers' continuing education programs.
