This paper introduces a new spacecraft architecture, which is named as "Modular On-orbit Renewable & Evolvable Satellite" or "More-Sat" for short. The purpose of More-Sat architecture is to explore an innovative way for space system construction and operation. For this purpose, the More-Sat should include a series of standards and technologies that are developed to facilitate the design, assembly, on orbit maintenance, upgradation and reconfiguration of spacecrafts. In this paper, we will discuss on the concepts and enabling technologies of More-Sat architecture, and then take a quantitative evaluation and comparison of the lifecycle cost, net profit and anti-risk ability of the monolithic, fractionated and More-Sat architectures based on an illustrative case.
