Early-stage thermal decomposition behavior (temperature range of up to approx. 673K) of guanidine salt of 1,5'-bi-1H-tetrazole (15BG), a double-ring tetrazole compound which has a potential as a fuel component of gas generating agent mixtures for automobile airbag inf lators, have been examined through TG-DTA-MS analyses at various heating rates between 1 - 30K min~(-1) under high purity helium atmosphere.
