Supply management practices have received great attention in both the popular literature and academic journals. Since the emergence of the term "Supply Chain Management" more and more companies are becoming interested in studying and adopting practices that would enable them to better compete in the market place. We investigate here the effect of some of the most prominent supply management practices on select firm competitive capabilities such as product innovation and quality.
