THE FIRM-NATURE RELATIONSHIP: MONITORING ADOPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT DURING THE LAST DECADE

During the last decades there has been an increasing focus on the firm-nature relationship. As a consequence some companies have started to take actions on a voluntarily basis whereas others have been forced to do it by introduction of legislation or economic regulation. This paper analyses the development in adoption and implementation of corporate environmental management in Danish industry based on frequent surveys throughout the last decade.
