Application of HPS (Hybrid Pelletized Sinter) process at Monlevade Works

The utilization of HPS at Belgo-Mineira has ensured the use of 100percent of our own iron ore taking advantage of this competitive edge for the company. The projected production level has already been reached and the sinter quality has fully met the blast furnace requirements. The on-going challenges from now on are the productivity maximization and the reduction of sinter costs.
