ThyssenKrupp Acciai Speciali Terni is one of the world's leading producers of stainless and electric steel, thanks to more than a century of steelmaking and its sophisticated production capability. Siemens I&S recently played a major part in modernizing the Sendzimir cold-rolling mills. As presented in this article the key factors for the success of such highly demanding projects with an extremely tight time schedule are the efficient project management and relying on highly standardized solutions as they are available in SIROLL~(CIS) product family.
