摘要

This preliminary study on laboratory ultrahigh strength steels showed that a fine bainitic structure, containing mostly film-like retained austenite particles, can be further strengthened by both intralath carbides and copper precipitates, while maintaining acceptable ductility levels. The stability of retained austenite, which governs ductility, is here driven by constraint effects.
