Cadmium (Cd~(2+)) is an ubiquitous metal and cumulative poison, which may cause liver and kidney damage and neoplasia formation. The experiments were performed on white laboratory mice using intraperitoneal injections 0.5 LD50 amount of CdCl_2 solution. Cd~(2+) concentration in mice kidney, liver, spleen, heart, skeletal muscles, and blood was detected by atomic absorption spectroscopy. In this study the changes in organs and metabolism, the accumulation of various levels of Cd in tissues, and the effects of EP liquid extract on Cd~(2+)-induced changes in mice were investigated. It was obtained ascending of Cd~(2+) concentrations under influence of EP liquid extract.
