A split-plot analysis for microarray experiments

摘要

We focus on a split-plot analysis for microarray experiments to account for the rich hierarchical structure typical of this measurement process. The real operative levels in the experimentation are here addressed. In particular, the levels of gene factor are reduced performing a selection based on variability of the intensity. Further issues here considered are the distinction between random and fixed effects and the consideration of the diameter as spot's covariate.
