Current/voltage characteristics of fuel cell for hydrogen/oxygen-mixed gas, which isproduced from water electrolysis under the low vibration frequency in order to agitating theaqueous solution, were examined. The results from a diode and a tetrode massspectrometers suggest that the mixed gas is normal hydrogen and oxygen mixture at hightemperature and mixtures of various type of hydrogen and oxygen at low temperature,respectively. It was evidenced that the cell potential at each load current for the mixed gaswas slightly larger than that for pure hydrogen though it contained oxygen at 20 °C. Cellpotentials at 60 °C were smaller than those at 20 °C and decreased abruptly with increase ofload current and strongly depended on the amount of feed gas. It was suggested that thismixed gas was also available for fuel cell at the lower temperature compared with normalPEM type fuel cell.
