This work is a survey of utilization of boron for hydrogen storage. Boron is a promising element forhydrogen storage with its chemical hydrides and nanostructural forms. It is also used as an additivein nickel metal hydride battery systems to enhance hydrogen compatibility and performance. Thispresent study will be a brief summary of hydrogen storage technology in general and focus onpossible uses of boron and its compounds.
