A series of vibration tests of the Boeing CH-47D tandem rotor helicopter was performed to verify analytical models and assist in the design and evaluation of efforts to reduce in-flight vibration. These efforts included structural modifications, and the addition of active and passive vibration absorbers. The test setup and conduct are described, as well as some of the results.
