Generation and Evaluation of Technological Search Patterns for the Target-exact Addressing of Potential Suppliers

By the means of the spreading of the Internet, producing enterprises dispose of a variety of information and functions. Especially small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using this offer could achieve savings, for example in the procurement of manufacturing parts or manufacturing performances within the scope of an addition of the own depth of manufacture. For using that saving potential, it however proves to be necessary to limit the expenditure resulting from the consultation to a minimum level. As consequence, the claim for a corresponding information-technical tool arises. Therewith, relevant information contents are to be demarcated and systematized in order to make sure that the search for suppliers becomes correspondingly restrictable and can be carried through target-exactly subsequently. Especially for the problem of the search and selection of suppliers, it is necessary to define demand-specific evaluation criteria in the forefield of an Internet research. By the help of that, possible manufacturing alternatives can be generated and evaluated subsequently. Based on that, technic-technologic restrictions can be derived as demands for potential suppliers. It just becomes possible then to make use of existing and internet-based markets which offer free manufacturing capacities for SMEs.
