THE APPLICATION STUDY OF LOOP HEAT PIPE ON THE THERMAL CONTROL DESIGN OF A SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENTAL SATELLITE

摘要

In this paper, a loop heat pipe, which is used in a certain scientific experimental satellite, is taken as example to give a general account about its technological process and kinds of tests during the manufacture, moreover, the key problems during the manufacture are described concisely. And then, according to the experimental temperature data which are obtained from ground tests and from the operation of the loop heat pipe in orbit, the performance of the loop heat pipe is analysed and assessed. By the analysis, it is concluded that the loop heat pipe works well in orbit and reaches the thermal control goal.
