Using the experimental strain modal analysis system, the dynamic mechanical properties of space materials are studied at low temperatures (from liquid helium temperature to room temperature) in this paper. System identification techniques in the time domain are used to identify the dynamic parameters of these space materials, such as Ti-5Al-2.5Sn and Al-Li alloy. The dynamic Young's moduli of these materials are calculated by the basic natural frequencies at different temperatures.
