Optimization Approach to Computer-Aided Design of Spur and Helical Gears

摘要

The present paper considers the approach to the computer-aided design of spur and helical gears in an optimization statement. The attention is paid to possibility of forecasting the quality of a gear at the early stage of design - at the choice of shift coefficients by means of the interactive system "Contour". Examples are given of the extreme gear design.
