INNOVATIVE POLYOLEFIN/ENGINEERING THERMOPLASTIC BLENDS

Polyphenylene ether (PPO~R) is one of most versatile engineering thermoplastics. Blends of PPO with various polyolefins have been created with proprietary compatibilization technology. These blends offer superior balance of thermal, mechanical, and processing properties. The performance features of PPO will be discussed along with its blends with polyolefins. The new blends may offer cost-effective solutions to satisfy some of the unmet needs of polyolefins.
