摘要

Furan rings widely occur as key structural units in numerous important products. More specifically, furan carboxylates are important precursors of pesticides like pyrethroid. Substituted furan carboxylates are derived from unsaturated lactone and methyl levulinate dimethyl acetal. However, these methods suffer from several drawbacks such as use of uncommon chemicals, troublesome procedures, and/or necessity of several reaction steps.
