Pd-Catalyzed Intramolecular Cyclization of Fluorinated Imidoyl Chloride: Synthesis of Fluorinated Quinolines

Trifluoroacetimidoyl halides have been used as substrate for many kinds of building blocks which proceed via radical, anion, cation, and metal intermediates. Among them, imidoyl palladium can be employed for alkenylation, alkynylation and carboalkoxylation. Fluorinated quinolines have been used as biologically active compounds so that a more straight-forward and practical preparation of these important compounds is demanded.
