IMPLEMENTATION OF PILOT LOAD SHIFTING PROJECT IN AN EGYPTIAN CEMENT COMPANY

摘要

This paper presents the description and outcomes of a pilot load shifting project in an Egyptian cement company. The company's load profiles before and after load shifting are compared. An economic evaluation of load shifting associated with the proposed incentives is conducted. The overall potential of load shifting at the level of the Egyptian cement industry is evaluated and its impact on the electricity sector is also assessed.
