The latest trend with hoop house growers in Oklahoma is to construct small, portable structures. The majority of these structures measure only 7 feet at the peak and are 14-17 feet in width. Most are equipped with rope straps extending over the top of the house to secure the poly covering to the frame. While most of these portable structures utilize steel hoops, growers often complain about the cost.
