摘要

This paper studies the effect of parameters such as pulse length, wavelength and peak intensity of the laser pulse on the residual energy of optical-field-ionized oxygen plasma for generation the recombination x-ray laser. The residual electron energy is calculated via the classical model of above-threshold ionization. Also it is showed how the space charge effect can reduce the residual electron energy to a minimum value in a suitable condition.
