摘要

A non-parametric model for the calculation of the transient recovery voltage (TRV) from frequency response data has been developed. The model is capable of determining the critical parameter for a circuit breaker that has to clear a transformer determined fault. A model for the calculation of the impact of an external capacitor at the transformer terminals is shown. Moreover the work gives an overview of modeling techniques for power transformer windings and points out the proof for the proposed method. As an example measurement results from on-site tests are presented and compared with calculated data.
