By survey, the content of Al2O3 of the fly ash is up to more than 45% and the resistivity of high- Al2O3 fly ash is over 10 12 ?·cm at some areas of China, this has influenced seriously to the electric conductivity of the fly ash and the efficiency of ESP has fell obviously. Based on simulating of burning characteristics of blended coal and calculating the efficiency of ESP, in this paper we has burnt the blended-coal at three proportions in lab and found the optimal blend proportion. According to the optimal proportion, the resistivity of the fly ash combusted blended coal has fell to 10 11 ?·cm and the calculated efficiency of ESP has increased about 0.5%. The combustion of blended coal is an effective approach to improve the efficiency of ESP that collected the high- Al2O3 fly ash.
